What is a Local
Development Framework?
The planning and compulsory Purchase Act 2004 has resulted
in major changes to the way the planning system operates.
It established the Local Development Framework (LDF) approach.

Local Development Framework and the new system of Local Development
Documents (LDDs) will replace the old system of structure plans,
local plans and supplementary planning guidance.
