Essex Crimestoppers
This is a charitable organisation which is not run by the police. You can talk to them in complete anonymity, you don’t have to give your name – in fact, they wont even ask for it or any other details which can trace you.

They don’t trace your calls - all they are interested in is information about who is committing what crimes.

The calls are free as long as you ring the Crimestoppers number from a land line. At the moment calls from mobile phones are charged at your normal rate. The number is 0800 555 111.

Victim Support Essex
Being a victim of crime can be very upsetting. It can often leave you scared and frightened for a long period of time. If you are a victim of crime, the Victim Support scheme is available for you to talk to.

Victim Support Essex is also a charity which is run by volunteers. They have three main offices in Essex, which help any victim of crime with support and advice. They are more than willing to talk to you and advise you about what you should do if you are the victim of a crime and don’t know if you want to tell your parents, the police or the school.
So don’t be alone, give them a call.
